About the Role
The Field Coordinator will be the on-the-ground leader, ensuring the smooth operation of CultivAid's Agricultural Innovation and Technology Center (AITEC). This role is a unique blend of leadership, administration, and hands-on agricultural work, requiring a passion for sustainable development and a knack for organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Coordination: Translate strategic visions into actionable tasks, oversee daily operations, and ensure everyone is on the same page.
Operations Oversight: Supervise farm activities, conduct field checks, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Administration and Logistics: Manage supplier relationships, oversee inventory, and coordinate payments, keeping the supply chain running smoothly.
Monitoring and Reporting: Implement evaluation systems, ensure accurate data collection, and provide updates to the management team.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the bridge between field teams, experts, and local partners, fostering collaboration and representing CultivAid in the community.
Technical and Team Support: Provide on-site assistance, support project implementation, and encourage a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Fluency in Hebrew and English
- Willingness to relocate to Embu, Kenya
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1-2 years of experience in coordination, administration, or field operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
