A 19-year-old student has made history! Nevaeh Allen, a business finance student at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC), has been crowned Miss Jamaica World Beach Beauty 2025. This is a remarkable achievement, especially considering the tough competition she faced.
The Beach Beauty competition is a prestigious event, serving as a fast-track to the grand finale of the Miss Jamaica World pageant. This year, the competition took place at the stunning Fort Clarence Beach in Portmore.
Nevaeh Allen, donning the Reggae Jamaica Village sash, emerged victorious, securing the top spot. Asia Wright and Halima Haughton followed closely behind, taking second and third place, respectively. With this win, Allen has automatically secured a place in the top ten of the grand finals, scheduled for November 2 at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium at Jamaica College.
In an interview with Observer Online, Allen expressed her surprise and elation. "I'm overjoyed! It was a bit of a shock because the pageant featured 19 other incredibly talented and beautiful women. I'm thrilled with the outcome and proud to have achieved an automatic top ten placement."
Allen's journey to the crown is inspiring. She revealed that participating in the Miss Jamaica World pageant had always been a dream of hers. "I'm incredibly proud to have made it this far and to have secured a spot in the top ten. It's a huge accomplishment. I joined this competition to pursue my dream and to bring attention to my advocacy for animal conservation and sustainability."
When asked about her expectations for the grand finals, Allen shared, "I'm most excited about the personal growth I'll experience. It's an honor to be a part of this journey."
