I was wondering whether there's some biological or psychological reason for this, like it's a throwback to when they were babies and breastfeeding or something like that?
Does anyone have any ideas?

My mum said I used to love it. I'm gay now.

No I don't think its anything to do with that. They are just arousing. I guess sucking on them makes them even more arousing.

It's because the media have sexualised womans breasts to the point that men think that they are only there for their benefit. That is why there is all this brouhaha over woman breastfeeding in public. People seem to forget what breasts are for. They think that they are there for men to drool over instead of to feed babies.
In the news yesterday, there was a story about more woman having breast enlargements 4 sizes larger than their natural size. Why would they do this? It's because even women are confused over their breasts. Most men prefer natural breasts anyway. The trouble is that mags such as Nuts and Zoo show women who are perceived as attractive because they have large breasts. Even mainstream press such as the Daily Mail constantly show celebs with skimpy clothes showing their breasts. I've heard of women who don't want to breast feed because they think their breasts are sexual and they see it as weird to feed a baby with them.

Yes because before the invention of the modern media no man ever sucked a nipple.

Not all women like it, But it's not just a case of "Sucking them like a baby would " , They like to be touched caressed held and the nipples teased with the tongue and other things. They can be very sensitive to the touch which turns some women on , while turning other women off.

Perhaps as a man I'm not entitled to express an opinion but I think it disturbing that any woman would choose not to breastfeed if she were physically capable. Humans are mammals so breastfeeding is a defining characteristic of us as a species.

I must admit, I didn't realise men only liked breasts because the media told them to either.

It's lovely. Especially when she's placing pressure on your head to continue, although you want a breather. Biting, sucking, licking, my god. F*** my life, I need sex.

I think it was Freud who said it was a throw back to the mother's breast. I have seen a documentary which shows that women like doing it too.:o

Ah, so my initial thought might not have been far off the mark.
Good old Freud.

I think Freud was wrong, otherwise straight women would like the idea too and personally I find the thoughts of it gross. Breasts aren't just for feeding babies anyway, they're a secondary sexual characteristic, so they have a dual function - attract a mate, and feed the sprog that results from the mating.

I'm a man. I've noticed.
I've not heard that women have the same interest in sucking men's nipples though.
